To learn the real story, watch the movie, "Unplanned", based on the true story of a Clinic Director at Planned Parenthood.

Really brilliant propaganda film by the ACLU, which has been destroying the United States since 1920. The constant boogey-man of abortion being outlawed has helped the ACLU raise hundreds of millions of dollars. This film is basic fear-mongering. The odds that abortion will ever be outlawed is around zero. The first people getting abortions are the adulterous wives of the Republicans in Congress. They may say they want abortion banned, but nobody really wants that. The ACLU went around the USA interviewing the weirdoes who run those anti-abortion groups, and giving them every opportunity to sound stupid and crazy, and that is what you have in this film. A collection of freaks, not a documentary. None of those borderline loser organizations can get abortion banned. The ACLU knows that. If they had any integrity, they would point out that these groups have zero power and no chance of affecting any change.

Another attempt of the left to self-sooth with words like pro-choice & woman's rights!! When Roe V. Wade was passed, most people were in the dark about the truth!! Modern technology is changing a generations mind about what's really going on inside the womb of a woman. And If you've seen a sonogram, or watched an abortion video, and you still say it's a woman's choice...then you might as well kill anyone that becomes an inconvenience to you, because no matter how you dress it up, Abortion IS murder!!

Reversing Roe gives us a good history of the battle for and against legalized abortion in America. The strategies and tactics employed by the players on both sides are well presented. However, several things which I believe are extremely relevant to this debate were completely absent from this documentary. The first of these omissions is there was no discussion whatsoever that the 1973 SC ruling seemed to invent out of thin air a Constitutional "right to privacy" and a woman's "right" to have complete control over her own body. Wouldn't those "rights" also apply to prostitution, where a woman would be able to rent her services as she sees fit, without having to fear being thrown in jail, or give the lion's share of her earnings to someone paying off the police? The ROE decision also included "viability" of the fetus, which is an ever-moving target due to constant medical advancements. The movie well depicts the passion that drives the leaders of both the "Pro-Life" and "Pro-Choice" movements. What the movie omits is that this passion is limited to a fairly small section of the population as a whole. Many Pro-Life supporters publicly claim abortion is murder. But ask ANY Pro-Life politician if he or she believes that women who go to foreign countries for abortions should be prosecuted, imprisoned, and/or executed for premeditated murder, and the answer will be "NO!" Similarly, very few people who want to keep abortion legal will admit to wanting the taxpayers to fund an unlimited number of abortions for a woman who keeps getting pregnant but doesn't want any children. Because of these realities, abortion isn't in the forefront of the minds of most Americans. In scores of national polls where voters are asked what the most important political issues are in America, abortion currently ranks around 14th place. REVERSING ROE might have you believe otherwise.

This is not an unbias view of both sides as it claims to be. It's just another disapointing, color between the lines, serving up the moderate liberal preconceptions.

This documentary is so obviously biased that I see it as a political hit piece by the left. Once again painting conservatives as religious nut jobs and white bigoted men. This is why there is not a serious discussion to be had on abortion. The left will do whatever it takes to make the right look like the ones in the wrong.

This is a slick and very watchable documentary about the history of the abortion debate in America. The discussion of the history of abortion in America before Roe v. Wade is particularly well done. Sadly, the rest of the film is more propaganda for one side (see if you can guess which) than it is an even handed exploration of both sides of the argument. In fact, in this sense I believe it is a perfect reflection of today's political climate, neither side is willing to admit that the other side has a valid point on any salient issue. While both sides are represented, the only "Pro Life" interviews that are presented are from those who are for outright banning of the practice and approach the subject from a purely religious perspective. Both religious and secular arguments are presented for the "Pro Choice" side. In summary, we saw many well-reasoned and even nuanced interviews with "Pro Choice" people, but interviews with "Pro Life" supporters were limited to the most extreme and religious supporters. Where are the discussions with those who would limit abortion rather than abolish it absolutely? Where are the discussions with abortion foes who do not take all of their direction from The Bible? I believe that the film makers made a good effort to present both sides of the argument. Sadly, the film maker's impressions of those who oppose abortion appear to be simplistic and are only a very small part of the story.

Personally, I am pro-abortion and pro-choice What I dont understand is why people need it. Are there so many people who dont know anything about their own bodies? The laws of biology? We need a driver's license to drive a car. Maybe its time to issue a license to people before they start having sex/make love/procreate.
