Smile 2 is just about the Demon and not the protagonist, this is exactly like Smile 1 except with a Singer and now we already know how the demon works so there's no mystery left, Joel the Cop should have been the protagonist since he's willing to murder someone to pass escape the demon, he survived for 6 days but we did not see it, that's 6 days of action packed survival that's wasted.
