The hell just happened?! Movie was worse than the extremely low budget parody videos we come across on tik tok and Instagram. Shocked that this is from a renowned director like d Banerjee! The team should really consider retracting the movie from the platforms. Even if this was in 2002, you still would not be able to believe what all was happening in the movie. Taking the lowest standards of filmaking to a whole another level! In every aspect, no point in pointing anything out. It was ALL very bad Forced to write a minimum 600 word review, there's really not much to say about it, I suggest do not waste your time watching this I Couldn't watch it after 15 mins.

It takes a lot of guts and passion for the powerful medium (that cinema is) to create such a raw, pristine and effective zist of what's all wrong with today's digital euphoria or I wud our digital way of modern life. Going directly cross with the most thriving indian realty television and may be rubbing quite a few industry friends off the wrong way, it's a highly courageous and appreciative attempt by Dibakar Banerjee. If not now, I can predict a cult following for this brave film that should be viewed by every informed and considerate Indian who worry about our younger generation falling prey to this psychological warfare of social media and instant fame brought down upon us by top 2 economic super powers. It's an uncomfortable watch and punches you in face to make you realise where we are heading. We need more of such bitter pills to wake up from dopamine induced digital algorithms that govern our life nowadays. Thank u DB for this and appreciate the work done by whole cast n crew.

LSD 2: Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2_360P

There are movies which provides you with an ending and there are some others which lets you hanging and wants you to ponder on the questions. I'm sure the people who are giving this movie a very low rating fall in the first category, so if you're also the same then don't watch it because you will not be able to understand why this movie was created. This movie is a naked truth in front of all our eyes and I was quite surprised how easily Mr. Bannerjee unveiled that curtain in front of all of us. There are three dimensions of this movie which touch the aspects of our digital life. It is not only showcasing what is running behind the curtain but also place a mirror in front of us all to reflect upon how we are also a part of it. We can't deny to our responsibilities by simply shutting our data plan on our mobiles. There are dangers to online world, reality TV, and many more. This movie is just a nudge to our shoulder to do the right thing.

When I watched first, I could not sit through the entire film. But when i watched it second time, I could observe the minute details that the director observed, like when Swastika mam looks at her hair on a video call, and the reactions of audiences when they were watching TYN. Only the stories didn't link as it should have, because it becomes very frustating for someone to keep sitting throughout the movie and try to find any sense in what is happening. Some context should have been given about what the movie is going to be about, before the movie starts. Overall it was a good movie with good direction.

LSD 2:-Love, sex aur dhokha 2 is a conedy crime drama romance film directed by dibakar banerjee. This seems to be the weakest film of banerjee's filmography. The actors have done a pretty good job, considering some were just debuting. But the problem lies in the inconsistent screenplay. The screenplay is just too flippant for my liking, too much experimental for even my liking. It gets slow and fast according to its whims, slow sometimes to the point of boring. I like the cinematography, the shots are composed of all types of video forms, starting from CCTV footage style, to laptop screens, to live camera streams. Its brilliant, but the writing seemed off to me. The last two segments, specially the third was very good. But the first one seemed way too haphazard, the critique on reality show scam is okay but the way it is told is too "matter of fact" manner. The subtext of the second story is the most I resonated with. It deals with the gay community and how apparently "they need to be saved." The music is great, by sneha khanwalkar.

Its not about the issues the movie is trying to bring up but sheer cliche coupled with lazy direction. The screenplay is all over the place and you fail to bind up genuine connection with the character. The movie is all over the place with no sense of why the scene is put up at the first place. And ending what was that , I mean please director/ writer you should plan to change jobs. This is not a movie review but my angst and pain of wasting my time and kicking my self how badly some good issues could have been executed. And to top that you have video songs that will kill you to death. Refrain guys from watching this.

I won't make a sweeping recommendation of it and your mileage may considerably vary, but all things considered, I thought LSD-2 was an excellent film and a strong return to form for Dibakar Banerjee. I see a lot of negative user reviews on IMDB, but I feel that they from people who think that movies should give some coherent take-home message and don't commit to the wildness of DB's vision, rough edges and all. For me, this is the strongest movie he has made in a long time, after the overblown misfire of Byomkesh Bakshi. Showing on Netflix. Even the nature of the film makes a streaming watch more appropriate than cinema, the only irritating element being the muting out of swear words, occasionally taking out entire phrases. I suggest avoiding all trailers and going in blind for maximum impact.

There was SO much potential for a black mirror-esque Bollywood edition style movie that could have been a new era of tech inspired movies for the new generation . But NO. They made this weird af movie with stories that are meant to "shock" and "get you thinking" , but all it did was irritate me more with every passing moment . The actors honestly did a good job with the weird source material they had been given and I can't fault them at all , but it's the source material itself that I don't understand. A reality show with a fame obsessed trans woman , an abused trans woman, who's taken advantage of by a big corp and a social media influencer who's bullied online - absurdly loose connections between all the stories, with no real conclusion leave the viewer wondering why they watched this at all.

Why, oh why? Why are these types of movies even made? What has the world done to deserve such horrific films? I dare anyone to watch 15 minutes of this movie-you'll be pulling your hair out. What is this? It's nothing but nonsense, certainly not a movie. Plotless, storyless, and meaningless, with utterly ridiculous acting. I sincerely hope no one was actually paid for this. This is the kind of movie that should be completely eradicated from all movie databases. This is not cinema; it's certainly not a movie. Dibakar Banerjee, apart from his one film "Lucky Oye," consistently produces top-notch ridiculousness, and this one tops them all. Save yourself.
