Steve's father dies leaving the family destitute and hopeless. He is left with his younger brother Robin who is still in school and his mother. He loses his job and turns into farming. When he begins to make profit, the Government takes back the land and leaves him in debt, as he is unable to meet his contract to profit vegetables for a school. Mr. Semindu is the cause of all and lamentation. Steve joins the mining industry and meets the love of his life Cathrine. She leaves him for another man, and decides to hit back on his enemies in life.
