The Weekend Away is a suspenseful thriller that follows a woman’s desperate search for her missing best friend during a vacation in Croatia. The film has a fast-paced plot with plenty of twists, but some moments feel predictable. Leighton Meester gives a solid performance as the lead, carrying most of the emotional weight. It's a decent watch if you’re in the mood for mystery and light drama, though not particularly groundbreaking. Suitable for a chill movie night with a bit of tension. 😊
