It seems the top reviews which rate this movie a 4 or a 3 are targeted and intentional trashing, probably because it is a remake of Telugu movie made by same director and the review writers do not appreciate the same movie being remade in bollywood. Very good plot, very well executed and Rajkumar is extremely convincing in his portrayal. I haven't seen the original and don't care either. I am sure original must be good and so is this one as it is a frame to frame remake (checked out the telugu trailer). I don't understand why people have to be so pathetic to trash good work just because they are fans of certain actor who played the same role in original. Story and pacing are perfect to keep you hooked.

Only name is HIT.. FLOP story, poor acting, Disaster Climax....... The script has plenty loopholes, the dots are not connected properly and direction is bad... A lot of things went unanswered in the movie... Sanya Malhotra had very limited role. It is thriller movie with no thrill at all, worst suspense and boring.. Climax and end spoils the whole movie.. Rajkumar Rao acting was not up to the mark and remaining actors put up an average performance... There were a lot of points went uncovered, like you want to cover everything and every point and leave every incomplete.. Only HIT by title disaster otherwise- Don't waste your time.

Keeps you hooked to last minute . An edge of the seat thriller . Rajkummar's one of the best work. Worth the money. Good research done by the writer for making the story.

Went in with high hopes and was disappointed within 30 mins. They rush through dialogues and story only to allow a 5 min slow song sequence which adds nothing to the story. No chemistry between any actors just wooden delivery. Not what I expected from the two leads. Only a terrible director could make good actors appear so bad. In that vein, the supporting actors are barely supporting anything. Wooden statues could do a better job. The production quality is third class. The cinematography and editing is so shoddy it feels like film students attempting their first project. Please make this the first and last case.

It's surprising that such unique films don't become blockbuster despite being a mystery thriller which is interesting . One has to accept the fact that this film is way better than the usual Bollywood trash we normally see . I am surprised by the choice Rajkumar Rao has made & he has completely nailed the role . As a Hindi film lover you get so happy when you see such film especially when it's a mystery thriller . Having said that I guess the editing & screenplay of this film could have been better because if it would have been then the makers would have nailed it & it could have been a masterpiece.

Its my personal opinion that i really need story when i watch movie, still i thought they will made not everything same let's see... But even camera movements colors and all things same as original one, Bollywood made this remake of recent movies that we have already watched in Hindi language, that Tamil one was good because story was new that time, and people like me who need new story everytime can't see this picture, i will have to think before watching any Bollywood movie.
