I'm trying so hard to get into this film but it's impossible, a very B movie

This is a complex movie - the character development is wonderful and reminds us that we don't always know all of the answers even if we believe we know what is best - just as things don't stay fixed and we have to keep coming back to them. The cinematography is captivating, the director Bo Bartlett, brought his years as a painter to the camera, and the scenes invoke his paintings.

I couldn't get further than the first ten minutes or so. Nothing happened. Zero apparent story or development. It became apparent that it's a film in which mostly talking takes place. So at that point I turned it off.
