I was at first reluctant to the idea of watching this thriller. The topic sounded so lousy and predictable that I did not feel it at all. But a friend of mine told me to try it, because it was worth...Actually the main character, a petty thug, junkie on the run, had nothing to excit me that much...Not my cup of tea. But to please my friend, I decided to risk ninety six minutes of my precious time on this movie. And I finally did not regret it at all. You have a gorgeous female kingpin, as Kate Winslet in TRIPLE 9, who is absolutely surprising - but I know that the female badass characters is the new fashion. The directing is very professional, well monitored, the acting OK too and Kevin Bacon is also excellent in an unusual role. Not a glorious one. And the ending very unpredictable too. So, to summarize, I was damn wrong at first sight, when reading the scheme of this story. Damn wrong, my instinct, for once, failed.

Danny chaplain and bill angle both play a human boat in 'the avengers.' Reeds secretary (only breathing from the side of her mouth) finds his wallet and lunch money blowing off a cheap table. Then Zeus (the worlds real, and only lord) went ahead and started experimenting with binding the humans. The film shows danny chaplain noticing a shooting star while he's getting his tire replaced at a firestone. Another person featured in the avengers stares at a gummy bear they keep on their nightstand before falling asleep. Reviews have to be 600 characters now. So i was driving down the street today, hot out today. Bunch of full grown humans trying to get stuff out there. Reminds me of a whimpering moose close to a steaming pot of stew. Good amount of sheriffs probably watch the avengers on sunday (off day).

Petty criminal with bag of money and coke, sound fun, sounds like a movie we have seen so many times before, but hey, it is tv movie after all. If you like movies that are quick, with lots of action sequences you will probably enjoy this movie enough to give it 6 or better in your review. This is action packed movie with some drama but it is just half way entertaining. Kevin Bacon and Travis Fimmel are hollywood household names but they did NOT deliver much in this movie. Even though there is pretty nice lineup of actors and "actor rappers" it is still just mediocre little movie, i would rate is 6/10 just because i think it had some good parts in it. Movie One Way is released september 2nd 2022. Starring Travis Fimmel, Kevin Bacon and Colson Baker aka Machine Gun Kelly. To be honest i expected more from Ragnar :)

I love a good contained thriller and this has thrills by the bucket load. Without giving too much away, MGK just manages to get on a departing bus with a bag full of cash belonging to some badass gangsters... and they want it back! Layered performances from Bacon, Fimmel, Reid and de Matteo (always great to see her) but MGK steals the show as the doomed hero. He holds his own and delivers his best acting to date imo. A few good twists and turns mixed in with a red herring or two keep you guessing and a subplot that you wouldn't see coming will maintain your interest. The cinematography and settings are top-notch and has a gritty 'True Detective' feel to it; old muscle cars, dilapidated bus stations, dive bars, etc. And combined with the director's stylistic touches and his ability to bring the drama to the forefront really makes the movie stand out.

Great acting. Great scenario. AMAZING CAST. I loved all of the twists in the movie. I really liked that it's almost a movie "in real time". We just see one bit of what is going on in the lives of these characters but still we understand everything. It's super smart the way the story is told and all the background of each characters is discovered little by little, and all of that with having the same scenery for the whole time. Just people inside a bus that are being connected to one another as the movie go. I'll rewatch it again for sure, there are certainly bits that I will understand better on a second watch.

That's two mediocre Kevin Bacon movies in a row for me... he was great in both, the rest of the cast, not so much. The story, directing and editing was pretty b-level. I hope this isn't a dip/end to his career that has him doing "whatever" comes his way, just for money. Again, he looked great, the overall movie was just not good. I thought he was going to be a main player in the movie, he ends up on the short end. Not great for an actor that was as good as he was for as long. Hopefully he does a better job vetting the scripts that he decides to film going forward. I usually love what he does, I'd hate to see him go out on a sour note.

The good: they tried to make something exciting and thrilling, so I give them credits for trying, but in the end they utterly failed at making a thrilling crime story. The bad: the story. The story is just not credible and kinda tedious, however much they have tried to make it look thrilling, the story is an empty shell. How long can I stay interested in a character travelling on a bus? ONLY if the leading actor had been a terrific actor, this movie could have had some merit, but now it has none. Kevin Bacon on the other hand IS a great actor and he does perform well (as usual) but he cant save this movie. The story: a criminal has fled on a bus and now other criminals are chasing him. Lots of talk talk talk, little to none thrilling action.
