Woman working late on Christmas eve is trapped by a psycho security guard in her office parking garage. Better than this has any right to be, this is actually a good little thriller. Psycho stalker films are not my cup of tea, but this one is actually pretty good thanks to a sense of humor, sense of horror, and a sense of place. if you've ever been in a garage you'll feel right at home at being uneasy. The director was an actor in the French horror film High Tension a film that I thought fell apart in the end, Here he's taken what worked in the earlier film and manages to make it work all the way to the end. If I have any real complaint is that the film is probably much longer than it should be, still if you like this sort of thing you're sure to be pleased.

I like this film, but there's one part that was infuriating. This woman is trapped and in danger from a murderous lunatic and manages to call 911 who promptly places her on hold....and she sits there and WAITS! Any normal person would've clicked over to the second line on the business phone while on hold with 911 and called family or a friend to get the help she needed immediately. Time is important here and she huddles in a ball on hold instead of calling for immediate help. She literally sat there shaking in fear a good 5 minutes on hold like a moron when she could've been proactive and called family. It was so frustrating to watch. Other than that scene, I still enjoyed it but I wish these films would inject some realism to make it more believable.

P2 is limited by its thin premise and plot, but it's still well written, acted and solidly executed. He just wanted someone to spend Christmas eve with... and got burned. Has humour, though a little cliched. The alluring Nichols who goes on to star in her own show "Continuum," plays the innocent victim well here. She was good in that show and it was alright, but just not quite there enough. Bentley's decent as well, as Tom.

The two central characters in this movie do a stellar job, particularly Wes Bentley as Tom. A movie with a simplistic plot that is not consistently easy on the eyes due to excessive gore, but is a good watch nonetheless. Keeps you hooked until the end to see what happens, with a few surprises in between, good dialogues and a memorable "Blue Christmas" soundtrack. You won't want to get caught in a parking lot EVER!

Routine thriller where an officer work is held hostage by a security guard on the evening before December 25th. Along the way, he murders another guard in the building as well as a dentist who really got fresh with our young lady during an office party. The picture goes awry when our lunatic starts dancing and shaking to the music of Elvis Presley while emulating the latter. Our heroine is no stranger to profanity. In fact, as her use of the latter increases, we might begin to realize what she is capable of-that is, turning the tables on her captor. She accomplishes with a ferocious force as our film ends.
