Could best be described as a white exploitation film. No fear factor supplied by mediocre characters. Perhaps some acting classes and a non bubble gum budget could have made this film tolerable. The ratty assed racoon looked like it was designed by blind highschool children. The * scenes couldn't save this one. The opening scene cuts to inexplicable morgue scene. The portrayal of the gay men was lame. I gave one star for the sheriff's wife's *. The best thing about the movie is that it ended. I am praying to the movie gods that there will not be a sequel. Mankind has suffered enough misery.

Now I am going to be as short as humanly possible. Please stop wasting your time watching this low IQ brain dead micro budget cheap looking pieces of celluloid. Movie description: Not sure who makes those movies but they are awful and I mean real awful, from the script, to the story to the acting, and even worse the so called special effects. Its terribly filmed and it look amateur at WORST. Even if it was aiming at a comedy horror gender it failed on every way. The raccoon himself is a puppet and when it attacks the so called actor or cast hold it on place it's that hilarious. P. S. I am a non bias reviewer critic and I try to warn you on what not to watch. First off this kannibalcorpsegrinder guy is certainly a studio shill who 100% has connects to these low budget independent films. There is no way this film is a 10/10 and is "near-flawless". I know I am not the only one who reads his reviews and gets irritated by his constant nonsense spewing. Literally it is all lies. Please do not listen to a word he says. Thanks guysss! Crackcoon is a hilarious romp through a series of events involving a tweaking raccoon that is high on a new street drug called Acid Mine Drainage. Along the way we meet colorful, often snarky characters, who all eventually have a date with the Crackcoon. Even though most characters meet their demise at the bloodied paws of Cracky, the manner in which they expire is often hilarious and leaves looking forward to how the next victim will go. The overall film is absurdist humor at its best, and even though it is a horror flick, it is doubtful anyone will be frightened. I was sorry to see that the Crackcoon did die at the end of this film, I was hoping it would be around for at least one sequel. I have my fingers crossed that maybe somewhere out there in the forest, there are some baby crackcoons just waiting for their day of vengeance.

After a sketchy drug deal gone awry, tainted cocaine gets lost in the woods and gets devoured by a mischievous raccoon which turns it into a raving killer taking out everything it comes into contact with, and after leaving a trail of destruction in the woods turns to a group of partying friends. Overall, this was a phenomenal effort with a lot to like about it. One of the finer aspects of this one is the admittedly cheesy yet still wildly fun setup that brings about the ensuing chaos. The first half of this offers up a strong series of interconnecting storylines about the residents in the community, whether it be the drug addicts looking for a new score, the friends going on vacation at a remote cabin in the area, or the other random locals that are involved with everything, all bring this one along quite nicely. The interconnecting story about the dealers distributing everything to the various groups as a way of spreading the whole thing across the community so that the first instances of it infecting people turn them into raving psychotic madmen while the raccoon is turned into a similarly maniacal and ravenous creature as a result so everything gets quite a solid start. That provides the framework for a slew of outrageously over-the-top and gloriously fun attack scenes involving the drugged-out raccoon going on a rampage. The initial encounters with the creature where it takes out the dealers or the disbelieving hunters allow for a great start to things as the raving antics of the creature are immensely fun at providing a way of realistically making such an implausible-seeming scenario come off. Other big attack scenes, with it raging across a campground or the wild scene involving it wiping out the congregation in the woods in graphic fashion, are equally fun and prepare this for the wild finale as it attacks the friends in the cabin taking them out one at a time in equally striking fashion. The gore in these kills are fantastically fun indie-style setpieces, and the concepts behind these scenes make for a great time when added alongside the gloriously cheesy puppet used for the creature that all provide quite a bit to like here. There isn't much to dislike here as the majority of the factors that can be flaws are mainly personal preference factors rather than genuine drawbacks. The inability to take things seriously in the finale where they constantly ignore common sense to continuously get themselves into trouble. After having spotted the creatures' handiwork across the countryside and found wounded survivors, the officer decides to forego getting them to safety to check on his wife which just feels quite unrealistic in the situation. As this fits in the story due to the resulting actions, that's not a big deal but does highlight the rest of the film taking on unrealistic and unnatural actions for the sake of the story. As well, there's also the usual slew of indie-based flaws on display that have to be taken into account, from the props to the make-up work, general presentation, and overall appearance that scream out its origins but aren't detrimental to this one unless that genuinely affects the viewer. Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Violence, Graphic Language, Full Nudity, drug use, and a sex scene.

Its a sort of creature feature about a drug addict that creates a new kind of drug (yes its been done a million times) the police end up chasing him and he throws is stach in a near by forest were the raccoon eats it and turns into a mutant. Not sure who makes those movies but they are bad and i mean real bad, from the script, to the story to the acting, and even worse the so called special effects. Its terribly filmed and it look amateur at best. Even if it was aiming at a comedy horror gender it failed on every way. The raccoon himself is a puppet and when it attacks the so called actor or cast hold it on place its that hilarious. I honestly cannot recommend this movie in anyway because there is nothing good about it at all.

I had actually been looking forward to this movie ever since I first saw the poster/cover when it was revealed. Sure, I wasn't harboring any grand expectations, as there has been a bunch of questionable movies with animals on drugs after the success of "Cocaine Bear". But, the movie's cover/poster really was interesting, and the movie's concept was interesting. And finally I had the chance to sit down and watch director Brad Twigg's 2024 movie "Crackcoon". So was it worth the wait? No, not really. Sure, "Crackcoon" was better than many of the other low budget movies with animals on drugs, but it was nowhere near the league of "Cocaine Bear". Sure, it was watchable, but it just wasn't an outstanding or particular memorable viewing experience. Of course I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. And that is actually something I enjoy when I sit down to watch movies. The acting performances in "Crackcoon" were fair. Of the entire cast ensemble, it was only actress Rosaria Eraso that managed to stand up in my opinion. The raccoon looked rather fake, especially since it was relatively inarticulate and moved about in a lifeless manner. The movie does have a fair share of blood and gore, which wasn't the best of special effects, but it was actually sufficiently gory enough to lift up the movie a notch or two. Ultimately I found "Crackcoon" somewhat of a disappointing movie. But if you enjoy outrageous horror comedies, then you might consider giving this movie a chance. My rating of "Crackcoon" lands on a four out of ten stars.

This is a movie that was obviously aiming to be a "so bad that it's good" cult hit, yet it falls flat on it's crack covered face. However, if you're looking for horribly painful dialogue, Only Fans girls being naked on screen for no reason, and hilariously bad CGI, then you'll be pleasantly surprised. The only saving grace were the gay dealers. They were at least funny sometimes. The racoon looked like some sort of mutant ewok creature from hell. The "final fight" of the movie ends with the racoon unceremoniously getting its head blown off by a magic shotgun with no recoil. TLDR? This movie blows. Go watch Cocaine Bear instead.
