The film is kinda cool, there are scenes that somehow touched the roots of Filipino audiences if I may say. I didn't cry like the most of viewers did. The scene with Iza is something very significant for me , it pierce my heart seeing someone you trusted betrays you despite if everything you've done for them. That scene in particular has given me deeper connection to the overall experience to the film but the hopes and the promise of future is still there. The acting of the kid is kinda awesome but at some point the way he acted , He seems to have so much experiences and at the same time the maturity of the character the way of delivery is something amazing.

You really shouldn't recommend this to children, as 16+ is maturity. Broad-minded people can understand what the film wants to convey to people. Because they are the ones who can understand the movie better, the scene where they steal from the rich, yes too good to be true, it seems like there is no such thing in reality, but maybe the characters who were robbed also exist. But the story was focused on Grandpa and the kid, how they met and how Grandpa supported and raised the child, in the beginning he worked because he was young, but when he got older, that's when they started asking for donations. Haha But that's right, at first we don't really see the value of education, and the best teachers are the ones we've been through in life, I also agree that even if you don't have any education as long as you have a strategy, you can lift yourself up, and know . Be with others and respect each other. Many did not graduate but became rich. Only people with really broad understanding can understand this movie.

I'm not quite sure where to begin. I find myself deeply disliking this genre of films, which has become all too common in the East. The creators of such films seem to rely heavily on manipulating the audience's emotions, resorting to cheap tactics to wring out tears with contrived and unrealistic events. The details in these films lack accuracy and are carelessly executed. Take, for example, the way the grandfather in the film traps his victims: he leaves the child in the same spot near an ice cream cart every time, then strolls down a nearby street populated by wealthy people. With a simple pause at the gate, he selects his target from a rich family that just so happens to be childless. The absurdity of this setup is staggering, as if this street is exclusively inhabited by wealthy individuals yearning for children, their lives an open book to anyone who walks by. What kind of nonsense is this? Secondly, the film's logic is baffling. The grandfather tries to instill noble values in the child by prohibiting cursing and avoiding immoral behavior, yet he has no qualms about teaching the child to scam, steal, and deceive people. What message is the film trying to convey here? Thirdly, the shallowness of the plot is striking. At one point, the grandfather's life is in peril, and a knife is about to cut his throat-only to be saved at the last second by the sound of the child screaming beneath him. Then, he looks up at the sky, symbolizing divine intervention at the final moment. Really? Lastly, the film drags on with a painfully slow plot and exaggerated character relationships that bore the viewer. The storyline is entirely predictable, leaving me just waiting for the inevitable moment when the grandfather finally lets the child go to pursue a better future. Anyone who enjoyed this film has likely fallen into the trap of emotional manipulation that the filmmakers have set to squeeze out tears in this illogical and poorly crafted work.
