When the trading company office worker Ichimiya Shingo wakes up from his nap he finds himself in an unfamiliar world in the body of a five-year-old boy, Wendelin (Well), from the noble Baumeister family. Though he's confused at his new surroundings, he's reassured to learn that he won't have to worry about food as a noble's son, but then he learns that he's actually the eighth son of a poor noble family in remote lands.
