Law student Ronaldo’s (Dan Alvaro) Mayor father (Ernie Zarate) and his wife are treacherously killed in an ambush schemed by Ronaldo’s chief of police godfather (Bernard Bonnin) in connivance with the Vice Mayor (Nick Romano) after his father rejects their illegal proposal to let the smuggling syndicate operate in their town for the money it will bring to the town’s coffer. The police chief blames the ambush on the rebels, but police Capt. Lopez (Dante Varona) from the capital thinks otherwise and tells it to Ronaldo who immediately confronts his godfather. The police chief sends orders to get rid of Ronaldo and to dispose his body into the sea but Ronaldo survives.
