A unique documentary with an interesting look at the social landscape. I liked the way it was filmed and the variety of views exposed by the free nature of the people talking.

What a shame! This is a genuinely a good idea for a film but its bias soon seeps through; better educated, liberals v less educated, working classes. There were no doubt a greater variety of social classes on both sides of Brexit that is presented. This is theatrically polarised. This was a good chance to present a real snap of history. But it feels the film maker may have selected his characters for the final cut based on his own subconscious bias. Pity, but worth a watch all the same.

The most divisive subject that has split Great Britain in 2 and a powerful warning of how dog whistle politics has motivated the working poor and intellectually lazy to find blame where blame doesn't exist. A chilling reminder of not only how beautiful democracy is, but also how deadly democracy can be when placed in the hands of those incapable of independent thought and are willing to throw themselves into the arms of the oligarchs and wealthy who, in actual fact could care less about them, but manipulate them to achieve their own wealth objectives. The values this country fought to preserve by fighting in WW2 eliminated in a single swoop. A must watch for future generations.

I've watched this film with a lot of interest, it's on a major topic, it's important to see how people think, what they think about this stupidity called Brexit, to see what they really feel. I wanted to make a similar movie myself, maybe I'll do it until the Fall of 2019. Even the title, "Brexitannia", it's a cool find.

1) This film utterly ignores history. There have been concerned and resistance to full on integration under the EU super-government umbrella from the common market, EEC, EU and Eurozone. It is nothing new or some kind of bright line, but a long process based continuum. 2) Apparently only leavers can be populist? We saw socialist populist governments for decades in Greece, in Italy, in Spain, even Scandinavian countries, but thta kind of insanely irresponsible "populism" is ok as long as it is left oriented? 3) Only Brexit proponents (leavers) make misstatements? Fact checking websites have shown that the remainers make as many false, idiotic, irrational statements as well. 4) No mention is made of the fact that the remains tend to have direct self interest. In fact most of the "experts" cited at the end of the film work for institution with direct interest in remaining. it is unethical not to note their interest.

This is a very poor account of the Brexiteers of the UK. There is no start middle or end, brexit started in 1973; this hodge podge should have better spent their money elsewhere, the BBC did a podcast called "Brexit: A Love Story?" - Impartial, well researched, educational, and above all, very well narrated! Highly recommend! THIS is TRASH

This is quite a rarity for a feature length documentary - it doesn't seem to have any clear overall message. It's just a collection of random soundbites about Britain and the Brexit vote - some for and some against. It's quite "arty" in its treatment and it almost feels more of an art installation than a film. On the whole, it's so confused and confusing that it's really unclear what we're supposed to make of it. Mildly entertaining in a "je ne sais quoi" kind of way...

This movie is a fascinating collection of opinions and thoughts on the subject of the Brexit vote, delivered straight to the camera from people living in Britain, post-vote. It also adds an interesting mix of "expert" opinion to the end of the film. I felt this documentary really succeeded at capturing passionate and persuasive opinions from many angles. I really liked this approach. There were people who I agreed with and disagreed with on both sides of the issue. I could also feel my own opinion shift around a bit as I watched. The film doesn't hide from the complexity of the situation, so as a result many ideas come into play. This makes it more interesting, but it also makes it harder to come to a simple resolution of your own. (Not a bad thing in my opinion.) The last quote in the film is really interesting. I had to watch it twice to make sure I got it. It reinforced to me the careful approach that the film took-and the priority it made of helping to generate understanding (in place of its agenda or criticisms). Definitely recommended for those interested in the nature of Brexit- and in politics as they exist today.
