Stumbled across K Shop yesterday ! LOVED IT .. I went in looking for abit of a mindless gore fest, but I got a lot of heart and meaningful messages. Its very physiological, which I didn't expect. This film did make us Brits look like complete morons 🤣 but it was still great !

The makers nailed it. This film depicted the punters in Kebab Shops & the like & street drunk night scenes so accurately. I wouldn't be surprised if they used real footage and not actual extras of the night street scenes. I thought Ziad Abaza was brilliant who plays Salah the owner of the shop. You can't help but root for his character. (On a side note, I always think what a nightmare it must be for business owners/staff & Law Enforcement who deal with these people).

Loved it! A decent horror film with a good narrative and a compelling message. The production values are good, the acting decent and it has a nice multilayered story arc, that kept me watching all the way to the end. I like the fact that it has realistic characters, who evolve in a relatable way. Having said that, the ending is also the weak point in this film. It seems a lot of filmmakers today struggle with finding a good ending. This is also the only reason why I gave 9 stars instead of 10. I definitely recommend this film.

This film had been on my watch list for a while and I finally got round to watching it this weekend. So glad I did! K-Shop delivered a fast paced, thought provoking gore fest! If you are squeamish or hate a bit of gore then this is not the film for you! K-Shop captures our modern society perfectly. I live near Bournemouth and can confirm that the scenes of drunken debauchery are accurate. This film follows one man and his hate against humanity after the untimely death of his beloved father. Ziad Abaza who plays Salah is top notch and captures the torment of the character perfectly. One thing I will say is that I am very glad I am a vegetarian! Go watch K-Shop, you won't regret it. 7/10

Wait what? Also who does the shopping? And what would that even mean? And has this anything to do with Evil Dead? Probably not right? Just me trying to be clever again with a title and riffing off it a bit ... then again ... who knows? Well I should know, but enough of this nonsense (sorry kind of something I'm a master of). This is a horror movie with a special shop owner. And like with most horror movies, he almost stumbles by accident into something ... horrible. He may not be the most likeable character to begin with, but I would never have thought he'd go and do ... well this sort of thing. Not very nice! Even to people you don't like. So this might not be your taste (no pun intended), but it is quite decently made. A bit more connection to the main character ... a bit more to the "victims" ... there are certain things that could have used a bit of work script wise ... but still if you like horror, you may not even care about that

Well stumbled upon this on Amazon prime and wow what a film, the atmosphere was spot on capturing the seedy UK nightlife and the performance by Ziad abaza was immense, never seen him anything else but he did an amazing job. The plot is simple but effective and keeps you coming back for more at nearly two hours it kept my attention for every second. Great great film.

K-Shop brought back some memories. I used to have a summer job working in a restaurant in a seaside resort. We had to deal with drunken revellers at weekends, a few would get abusive. Although we did not mince them up and serve them up as the kebab special as they do here. Salah is a student who helps out in his dad's kebab shop in a seaside town. When his father is killed by some yobs, Salah snaps when he is later confronted by an abuser. To get rid off the body he puts them through a mincer and serves them to obnoxious customers. Pretty soon Salah gets a taste of murder and in his sights is a nightclub owner who peddles drugs into the community. K-Shop is a dark comic horror film about broken Britain which goes on a binge at the weekends. It aspires to be a modern version of Sweeney Todd but the film is too long and the main character is too subdued. Although conflicted with the crimes he commits, we also sense Salah was already damaged as he and his dad fled a war torn middle eastern country, presumably Iraq.

Very weak and poorly made horror movie. The person who wrote the story clearly hate people who drink alcohol and do party, but sorry they don't all have 35 IQ and the story was zero realistic. Seem like there are like one or two persons in this movie who have a decent brain, everyone else got the IQ of a crocodile. Good movie if you're looking to sleep on something.

Salah (Ziad Abaza) a Turkish immigrant inherits "Best Kabobz" from his father who died at the hands of hooligans...sort of. Salah, having lived in westernized Turkey and England his whole life still hasn't gotten used to Western decadence. i.e. sex, drugs and rock and roll...the staples of western civilization. At this point the story goes formula...he accidentally kills a man in his store. With the meat delivery being late...and every since "Motel Hell" human meat has been described as tasty. Perhaps it is. At this point, Salah applies his knowledge of social economics and opts to cleanse London of party people one person at a time. There are plenty of cannibal killer food serving films out there, some better than others. This one half- hardheartedly attempts a message about society and cultural clashes, but nothing really heavy. Guide: Swearing. Brief sex and nudity in crowd scenes.
