Well put together documentary the production team deserve a lot of credit but the star of the show is Katie...
It is the contrast of what she brings to her sport in comparison to other sports people. There is no big house with all the gadgets for a soccer player on the bench most weekends.. This is a woman who is defining a sport.
i think in time this Documentary could be expanded to show where Women's Boxing was when she started (something only touched on in this movie) and where she will leave it... It will be incredible to see but that is not to take away from this Movie, this is about a humble girl who is changing the world.

Directed by Ross Whitaker following world champion boxer Katie Taylor from Ireland as she rebuilds her career after a year of personal issues affecting her work. Celebrated as being a pioneer of the rise in women's boxing, she is rightfully so a highly respected sport personality as explored perfectly in this portrait. What is most moving is her determination and love for her art. Being someone who doesn't really know anything about boxing or sports in general, I learned a lot by watching this and felt I understood much more about the appeal of boxing than I did before. Her dedication and force of will is really inspiring, making Taylor a really engaging screen presence also. I thought her story was really touching and really want her to continue doing well; a fantastic example of a documentary ticking all the boxes and working wonders with its subject
