Okay it's basically him yelling and shouting and repeating his lines over and over and over again. He's walking around winded breathing heavy and yelling Mixed in with name dropping. "Movie with the rock" "chappelle gave me covid." "Bradley cooper talked to me". 30 mins in now, didn't even smile. Not once. What's weird is the crowd, what are they laughing at? Are they encouraging him? Are they being qued? Have they never seen comedy? He didn't say a single funny thing. Not funny stupid, not funny dark, not funny satirical, just not funny. Don't waste your time. Unless u wanna see a big guy yelling, breathing heavily and fake laughing at the end of every sentence he says n then repeats the last bit again but in a much louder voice.

Ok now 20 mins in and still not close to laughing. Good thing he had a good crowd, not sure what they were laughing at but 🤷‍♂️. Nothing close to comedy. Don't waste your time.

He is the next famous star. Why you should watch this? He is brilliant in giving you a lesson in history, language, culture, and MUCH MORE!! He is amazing in mimicking languages and gestures. You should watch the show from A to Z. At the beginning you might think he is spending a lot of time on the COVID thing and you might think he keeps repeating it until he moves to the next part which makes you realize he was so brilliant in describing the COVID part, he nailed this part, he was the best comedian to talk about COVID part better than Kevin Hart and Dave Chapelle when they talked about COVID. You will enjoy the flow of the show especially when he teaches you some Arabic words, then you will get amazed when he uses one of the words at the end of the show, you will really say WOOOOW that was really connected and symbolic. The way he talks about Hummus part will make you want to have home-made Palestinian Hummus because he makes it feels so delicious though he was brilliant to use Hummus part to show how politics is played and to show the injustice played against his relatives in Palestine. This guy is originally from Palestine and he is a proud American, but what I found astonishing is that some Israelis reviewed this show and commented that even as Israelis they have liked this show of a Palestinian comedian. The film at the end of the show with his family was so touching, my eyes teared watching that part of the show, it made me cry, smile, laugh, get amazed and get excited to watch his next show "The Vagabond". The fact that he is a friend with Dave Chapelle made me respect him more, Dave and Mo will always be at the top of my list.

Comedy as it's intended to is meant to push against the norm and point out the social issues of modern society. What Mohammed Amer has done is use his platform as a Palestinian comedian to speak out about the injustices of Israel against the Palestinians. When I imagine 10 years down the line as we continue to fight for Palestinian rights, I imagine that we reflect back on comedians like Mohammed who had enough bravery to stand up in front of an entire crowd and authentically represent not only himself as a Palestinian but also what a modern Middle Eastern Muslim looks like. Representation is incredibly important, and Mohammed has marked this moment as what it means to be Palestinian affected by American and Israeli injustices. And that is not something to sleep on.

If you're arab or even muslim or have a arab background, you will laugh your ass off. Its really funny and it gets a little emotional at the end. Some people might not understand it because this special is very...cultural. He talks about his home country a lot.

At first I thought he was going to be some braindead conservative from Texas because he starts off making some comments about covid that make it sound like he thinks the pandemic was fake, but he's not. It's good, it's not some ignorant BS. He actually goes on to talk about how he got covid TWICE. He does a good job making current events funny and then moves onto some multi-cultural jokes that are also quite good.

His time came and went. He was funny now an early has-been. His whole routine was garbage. Stop lecturing and tell some jokes. Should have no more Netflix specials.

As an Israeli I must say it was pretty funny, even the parts about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict were surprisingly balanced, which is very appreciated in a time when it is too easy to be antisemitic. I must say that the part about Hummus made me a bit mad. First of all, Hebrew does have an equivalent of Ha (Arabic 6th letter), it is called Heth (Hebrew 8th letter), which is different from Khaf (Hebrew 20th letter), and that's the letter we use for hummus. Second, hummus was actually mentioned in the bible (look it up), which means that hummus was in Israel thousands of years ago. Third, even if the letter-equivalent thing was true (which is not), it's a bit like Palestinian can't say the word Palestine (they say Balestine) because they don't have an equivalent for P. Does it mean anything about their authenticity? I don't think so. Nonetheless, Israeli-Arabic hummus is better than Israeli-Jewish hummus. Anyway, apart from the hummus part it was really funny. The part about covid was hilarious, and the last part (about him returning to his home) was emotional. Good job Mo, waiting for your next special!

Meandering rant, no structure, sparse and flat jokes. Hard to believe that a comedian who crafted Vagabond got so disinterested and complacent so fast.
