This is fun movie with great comic performances and a fun central conceit! Nick Hayles gives a terrific performance as a Ronny O' Sullivan lookalike and even moves onto some genuinely touching emotions at some moments of the film that reflects th tragicomedy tone. Also fun is the Daniel Craig lookalike who goes as far as to re enact a key scene from Casino Royale! Clearly made on a low budget the film is proof that imagination and comedy stand over bigger budget productions stand head and shoulders over sometimes blander studio fare. There are terrific animation sequences as well that add a touch of the surreal to the proceedings! It's snooker loopy!

I really enjoyed this Mockumenatary, firstly, because I am a keen fan of rhe indie movie era, and mostly because it is actually a shrine ro rhe Sam Cassy and Nick Hayles videos portfolio, the entire feature length included numerous nods to their previous works and in some cases, to themselves in person ,loved it Chihuahaa man was a stupid crazy number and somehow the sequences incuded in this made it legend. The lead is funny and captures thr movies premis correctly, making snookerman an absolute contender in the mock/documentary style films era and we can t wait to see what comes next in the catalogue.

Well, well, well... This was a let down. It was an uneven movie and it felt quite pointless actually. Not what I would call a good movie at all. It is a pity because it could have been much better, if it had a better script. I got the impression that the main character and some of the other actors actually could act but they didn't had a good manuscript to work with. The first half of the film was boring and felt irrelevant. It felt just like a filler to get a full time movie. The second was much better (but not really good) and was about the snooker. They got some credible scenes about the shots and the rules of snooker alright, to my satisfaction. Except for the maximum break they were talking about. As the previous reviewer said it wasn't possible to reach 147 in score, since they only used 10 red balls. I liked the snooker man character but it didn't help with that manuscript. It all felt just flat and boring. Sorry to say. However I liked to soundtrack. Surprisingly good. So, I would give it about 2,6 stars but since I only can vote whole numbers I will be kind and give it a 3.

First of all: I'm a big snooker fan and a big movie fan as well. I like decent comedy. This how ever... goosh! I really do not have enough words on how awful that was. Thankfully I managed to fast forward the movie in some parts. First of all, the similarities between him and Ronnie O'Sullivan are really not that noticeable. If he had known Ronnie for sure, he could have sounded more like him with the typical high pitched voice and "yeah, you know's". The most ridiculous thing was that the makers of that "comedy" couldn't even calculate at the level of a primary school child. They were talking about 147s but in order to make on in their tiny table, you'd need 15 reds for that. You can only spot 10 and to be honest I wouldn't believe even the great Ronnie O'Sullivan could make a 147 in a piece of cardboard like that when small colours could fall in themselves after hitting the cue ball a bit harder than usual. So everything about that movie was just awful, it wasn't funny at all, actually everything the opposite.
