I wasn't sure about this movie, but after I watched the first 10 minutes I was totally engaged with the cast and story. I recommend this movie.

I loved the ambiance and feel of this movie. The excellent direction and cinematography captured the environment not only of the seedy world of the motel but also the inner world of its characters. Hard to believe this is the director's first feature film. I look forward to seeing more from this director.

Amazing film with wonderful actors. Excellent directing by Sonejuhi Sinha. Very poignant and touching : I loved the themes of immigration and women's friendship sharing the same hardships. Beautiful colours and great filming. I really recommend it.

I really liked this film! Saw it at Tribeca last year and have thought about it often since. Really terrific direction & great actors! Stray Dolls is a thriller and a fun ride, for sure, but it's also very smart (politically incisive, sharply written, really has something to say) and emotionally on point! I'll admit I cried at the end.
